Recrypt

The Ethereum Foundation and Edge City awarded a Shift Grant in 2025 to IdentiKey's Recrypt project for post-quantum secure file sharing. We are delighted to say it's rolling out this June.

IdentiKey's quantum-secure tech will revolutionize private cloud storage

The pioneering technology enables secure, shareable cloud storage where providers never see your data.

Think DropBox meets Signal.

Recrypt is just the beginning. As part of the broader IdentiKey vision, this technology enables a future where you own your data: your photos, documents, messages, and digital life remain yours. Apps and services can request permission to access specific data, which you can grant or revoke from a central control panel — just like you manage app permissions on your phone today, but far more powerful.

Identity has to be permissionless

Identity has to be permissionless in order to be the basis of freedom-oriented technology.

Online Identity

Logging in to incumbents like Google and Facebook, they own your account and define who you get to be. All the services that use those accounts can be locked away with an admin's keypress. All your data is stored on their servers. Is that data really yours?

While this has become a standard practice to access essential services, it begs the question: is there an alternative?

Discover IdentiKey — your gateway to owning your data and reclaiming digital sovereignty.

DWeb Camp Berlin

IdentiKey will be demoing the new mesh routers and symmetric P2P protocols, talk about cryptographic keys for identity, and how to reclaim digital sovereignty.

The internet is built on centralizing assumptions that create an asymmetric power imbalance, used to great effect by Big Tech, but generally to the detriment of our freedom, power to choose, and ability to maintain strong stewardship of our own data.

DWeb Camp is a gathering to create a collaborative space for people to connect, learn, share, and have fun as we work towards building a better, decentralized web — a web that actualizes the principles of trust, human agency, mutual respect, and ecological awareness. IdentiKey will be presenting at this year's conference.

Morphist

Launched in 2025, Morphist — in collaboration with IdentiKey — allows for the use of AI communication with IdentiKey's sovereign log in.
